Chalk Wars

So, this happened a while ago, but our backyard is still graced by the after effects of this battle. One afternoon, in a desperate attempt to get something done in the house, I gave the boys a bucket of fat chalk, escorted them to the backyard and took my leave with barely a backward glance. I knew what the consequences would be, but I was willing to accept them. Little did I know that a short while later, upon surveying the war efforts, I would discover this - two little painted Indians putting an end to war through art ... chalk art ... everywhere:

  3. Ah hahahaha! I couldn't help laughing when I saw his little blue mouth. Why is it that kids will eat things like chalk but not peas? lol.

  4. Yuck I can't believe he would eat chalk, just the texture is nasty, I can't imagine the taste. Those are cute pictures though, and hey if they had fun that's all that matters.

  5. I knew Soren and Jonathan and Anders and Katelyn were the same age, but I never would have guessed they'd be on the same wavelength! Especially with you guys in CA ... I swear those could have been pictures of my kids this summer, Katelyn being the chalk eater. The best part though, is when they discover the hose and make everything a chalky, WET mess!I love the pictures. How do you get such big pictures on your blog?
