December 2011 | Pine Cone Trees

We made pine cone Christmas trees with some roadside pine cones collected a loooong time ago at one of Soren's golf lessons; a little bit of glue, pom poms, and paint; and a whole lot of our very own Grandma Bagel, artiste extraordinaire. Soren and Grandma have this tradition of always doing a craft or art project together when Grandma comes to town. This definitely fit the bill. And even little Karsten got in on the action, sans glue and paint. He had a grand old time poking pom poms into the various holes around his pine cone.
