We love games. We have tons of games. We collect games like some people collect movies and music and stamps. :) Games are such a great way for kids to learn valuable life lessons like sharing, taking turns, laughing at yourself, good sportsmanship, and being a good loser and a gracious winner. A while back we got Battleship and it has become a fast favorite as we square off in teams. While Dan and I duke it out with a child on each side, Karsten navigates no-man’s land, often with a few stolen game pieces in tow.
Next time you’re tempted to turn on the TV, pull out a game instead. Your kids will thank you and you’ll find your day brightened by the effort.
After the kids went to bed, Dan and I had our own game night with Battleship and Rummikub.
Can you tell how much Dan LOVES my picture-taking fanaticism? Yeah. He loves it. So much.
Good thing he loves me, because if it was just my camera, it would have met its doom long ago. ♥♥♥
