December 2011 | December Nights

At the very beginning of December, we were invited by our good friends, Gary and Bliss, to attend December Nights at Balboa Park.  We had never gone before, so we decided to give it a go.  Annnnnd, once was definitely enough of a go for us.  We'll never go again.  We loved seeing Bliss and Gary, but we couldn't chat much as we waded through the masses.  It was hard to hear each other and difficult to stay together.  There were SO many people and the kids got sick of walking and complained that their legs hurt.  The lights were pretty, but not spectacular, nor was the music at the amphitheater.  It just was not very kid friendly.  We were pretty happy to skip out early after unintentionally losing Bliss and Gary in the crowd.
