Bunk Bed Fort

These pictures are pretty much self-explanatory . . . but of course that doesn't stop me from pointing out a few things anyway. :D We have the slatted bunk bed bases and they lend themselves EXTREMELY well to the construction of blanket forts. The boys and I made this one, then I proceeded to make regular deliveries of drinks and snacks and books. At one point, Buddha disengaged from the fort and spent some time decorating a discarded cardboard box. I was later informed that it was to be their TV. He set it up inside the fort and he and Bugga settled in, with their mini-brunch, for a nice imaginary flick.

{This particular fort was built on the 2nd of October, but we've since constructed others. They seem to become more elaborate each time. Bless these little imaginations . . . mine's completely shot. :D}
