Chubbers

My mom says it's because The Chief and I are both "sturdy."  (Thanks a lot, Mom)  :D  Whatever the reason, The Chief and I definitely make big, chubby babies.  I took Pip for a one-month check-up with his doctor last week and we discovered that we have yet another chubbers in our midst.  My *little* Pipilo is now weighing in at a healthy, hefty 12 lbs.  That's the 90th percentile, folks!  I am one proud, sturdy mama.  Just look at these scrumptious jowls!  And check it out, even in his sleep he salivates over his next meal.  (Which should be in about T - 6 minutes here.  And the beast stirs . . . .)

Isn't this the cutest?!  Buddha rocked Mr. Pip to sleep and when I got out the camera and asked Buddha to smile, they both did!  What luck!

Oh! I just want to pinch his chubby, beautiful little cheeks! And the smiles are the best too....he's enjoying life, you can tell from the milk bubbles and rolls of fat....I already love this kid, and I haven't met him yet!

Don't worry I have chubby babies too. Or at least I had one and this next one is expected to be close to 9 lbs if I go until my due date which is on the 12th. He's adorable! I love the last picture. Priceless.

Here is my theory...some moms produce holstein milk and some produce jersey milk. Jersey milk is much creamier and has more fat holstein is closer to skim. I have holstein milk and you have jersey.

Ha ha ha! Karin, I love your theory. I remember when I had Buddha my doctor told me I should patent my breast milk and sell it. He took one look at my chubby Buddha and said I must make pure cream. :D
