Trunk or Treat

Well, we took the boys to a multi-ward trunk or treat at our stake center tonight. Every time I've asked Buddha what he wants to be for Halloween, he always says "Dracula." So, tonight he got his wish. He was the cutest little Dracula out there, too! Oops, I'm not supposed to call him "little." I got in trouble for that earlier today. :) Bugga was an old-school aviator, courtesy of hand-me-downs. For anyone who is not familiar with a "trunk or treat," it's where everyone parks around a building with their cars' rears facing the building. Then, they open up their trunks and hand out candy to the "trunk or treaters." :) The Chief decorated our "trunk," and did a great job of it! It was a lot of fun. Many people loved Buddha's costume, though I think on Wednesday when he goes trick or treating around the neighborhood, I'll skip the makeup. I think he's a cuter Dracula without it. Bugga had fun watching all the kids go by. He also managed to eat some candy, wrapper and all, while I was busy taking pictures of Buddha. Oh well, it's not the first time he's eaten paper (his favorite non-food), and I'm sure it won't be the last. Okay, that's all for tonight. I'm up way too late! After the trunk or treat I had to do some last minute grocery shopping before the Sabbath. I'm beat.

So cute! I think you should use the makeup again on Soren for trick or treating. It makes him spooky!

I love the little aviator costume - how adorable! We have also learned that paper, while not a preferable food item, does no harm. :)

I love it! Your boys look so great. At least Soren told you what he wanted to be ... Every time I ask Jonathan I get a different answer! I think I'll just have to pick from one of the many ideas he's given and get him excited about it. Can't wait to see pictures from Halloween!

hair larious pictures. How did you get Soren's hair black. He looks like he is five! Good idea to put the towel on the back of the car seat to protect it. What a great idea for halloween, much safer than going around a neighborhood.

Wow, really cute! I love the aviator! He looks warm and cozy.

Soren looks great, though too cute to be taken seriously as a scary vampire!

Soren looked awesome in his costume! You did a great job with his makeup. I love the widows peak! Anders looked cute as the aviator. I remeber the pictures of Soren wearing it too. It just seems like that was yesterday.
