Spoils

So maybe I seized the opportunity to relive my own childhood. :)

Maybe you better let Soren eat all he can of the candy in one evening and that's it. I used to buy the candy from you children. Some years you wouldn't do it. I should have offered more.

Soren is one smart little three-year old. He already has it figured out; whatever tastes good is bad for you.

Claire is still at the age where we don't have to buy it from her, because we can take it without her knowing. Yeah, thats right, thats the kinda parents we are. (we just want her to be healthy, right??)

Soren looks so innocent in the first picture, and then he looks absolutely pleased with his loot in the next pictures. HE did well for himself.

Liz, thanks for letting me know you found us! Of course I remember you! I was really curious about what friend of a friend you found me through, and I think it's the Burr's? Melissa's sister Joanna was my freshman roommate and is still one of my good friends. How small the world is! I couldn't tell where you guys live but it was fun to see that you have two boys now. I'll have to keep up with you, and maybe you already noticed but I have links to a bunch more people from the C4 ward!

Hi Liz, I'm glad you found us. Yup, I am pregnant and counting down the days - as you can tell on our blog... We have decided not to find out what we're having, so it'll be a surprise. I have to be honest though, that we're having a very hard time deciding on baby names, but Soren still tops our list for boy names, definitely inspired by your Soren. I hope that's not a disappointment. How is California? My sister is in Irvine, so we've heard more about the fires, that sounds pretty crazy.

I think that counting all the candy is the greatest. We always did that every year. It was funny because this year it was part of Mckennas homework. The teacher wanted them to count it and sort it by shape, color, size etc.

That's a good way to get an educational benefit out of Halloween! :) Great idea.
