To Build a House

To build a house, you need one man, two little boys, spooky frosting, goopy fingers, orange tongues, and TONS of patience. I think we lacked the latter because the frame is all we managed to build. Our house remains unfinished, sitting at the top of our book shelves, begging for the stale candy decor that Mommy spitefully threw away after she tried to sample some and nearly broke her teeth on it. I guess I honestly thought that edible meant edible, not "last year's candy: could be eaten if you wanted to suck on it for two years instead of chew it up." I suppose that's what I get for trying to eat our home's rain gutters and shingles. Thanks for a great family activity, Grandma!

Was it worth the mess? Yes, for this last picture alone it was completely worth it.
