Buddies

Every day Buddha is more and more in love with his little brother. And I love watching that transformation! From indifferent sibling to protective, attentive big brother, it's truly a heartwarming display. Here, Buddha is letting Bugga hang out on his leg while he reads his "Big ABC Book" to him. Other demonstrations of Buddha's increasing tolerance and adoration are his absolute distress when Bugga has nap time, "No he wanna go night-night! He just wanna play with me!"; his insistence that he knows what Bugga needs better than I, "No he want breast milk! He just want real food!"; and his constant concern for Bugga's whereabouts, "Where's Bugga, Mommy? He wanna come in here with me, Mommy." These boys are going to be great friends, I just know it. And I so look forward to the day when Bugga is so stable on his feet, that he can just run around with Buddha and they can chase each other and play all day. It will be so much fun!

I really LOVE this picture...I don't know why pictures of siblings together are so endearing to me. It doesn't hurt that your boys are so dang cute! (:

Your boys are really cute together. It is fun that Soren is playing more with Anders. It is really nice when they get to the point they can play together. But that is when the mischief begins. They run off together and get into trouble!

Isn't that so much fun? Annicka is the same way with Park. She has to know where he is and when he is napping she gets SOOO bored. As soon as she hears him moving around in his room her eyes will light up and she'll say, "Park awake!" Then she'll let herself in and start playing with him, even before I can get him out of his crib. Sometimes in the morning she wakes up early and will come lay in bed with us until she hears him and then she'll go in a play while we half sleep for a little longer. We love it!
